Pacific Islands Intellectual Property Services

Pacific Islands Intellectual Property Service [PIIPS] is the Intellectual Property division of our firm.  PIIPS is led by Artika Prasad and Aminiasi Vulaono and they are assisted by 2 dedicated IP administrators. The PIIPS team and approach has been designed to ensure that the services that PIIPS offers meet with international standards and our own aim to provide the best IP services in the region. 

The services PIIPS offer includes: Trade Mark, Patent, and Design registration, Renewal, Searches, Recordals, Opposition and Enforcement Proceedings, Copyright Protection and Enforcement. PIIPS also provides legal advice and guidance on how to obtain full commercial advantage from the registration of their IP in the Pacific context.  PIIPS is regularly engaged by clients in relation to rebranding across the Asia-Pacific region and for general commercial IP related advice.

Our dedicated IP services has seen PIIPS become one of the fastest expanding IP service providers in the Pacific region, and in recent years our commitment to service delivery has seen us expand our services into the Asia-Pacific region and beyond to include: Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Mynamar, and the United Kingdom. PIIPS is a member of the International Trade Mark Association [INTA]. Artika and Aminiasi have represented the firm to INTA's annual conferences from 2010 and are regular contributors to IP journals.
