Applications for renewal and assignment of UK-based trade marks can also be filed.

All applications must be accompanied by a certified copy UK certificate

A Tuvalu trade mark or patent registration is valid for the same term as the UK registration on which it is based.

The records of the Tuvaluan Trade Mark Office are not computerized. Searches can be carried out manually on a class by class basis.
